Thanks to the awesome peeps at Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen and Miss Tam Chiak, I found a surprise email in my inbox telling me that I had won a voucher that was redeemable at their Liang Court outlet. Thanks a gazillion for the lovely Christmas surprise :)
Karamiso Ramen, $12
Super in love with the thick salty soup broth and runny egg. I felt the chilli was a tad bit too spicy for my liking and so I ended up scraping a big spoonful away.
Mama chomping away on her karamiso ramen.
Shoyu Nitamago Chashu, $16
This bowl of ramen came with extremely generous helpings of slice beef. We added an extra egg on top of the single egg that was given to us.
Kazan Karamiso, $18
One comes here to try their Kazan dishes and we did. It was initially served with their signature red funnel and served piping hot.
This is a restaurant mainly for gatherings of family and friends. Not a place I would go to for a romantic date as it can get rather noisy and the tables are placed close to each other. Being a ramen fan, I definitely did enjoy chewing on the ramen and slurping the bowl of soup. As there are tons of ramen outlets in Singapore today, this outlet stands out for introducing the novelty concept of cooking ramen the kazan style.
