Bagged this extremely pretty Chanel inspired iphone case at a steal during my last shopping trip to Sutera Mall.
The basement level boasts of over 100 stores that sells clothing and handphone accessories that are similar to that in Far East Plaza, Singapore. I managed to bag two Chanel inspired iphone casing at 55 Ringgit. Let me tell you a secret, I had to bargain for the price!
My two Chanel inspired handphone casing.
Each casing cost me approximately SGD 11.45
I could easily buy these casing online but what I like about buying at a mall was the convenience of trying it on your phone on the spot. And what you see is really what you get. For example, you get to check if the chain is working or if the colour is to your liking, before buying it.
(P.S By the way, some online stores in Singapore are retailing these for 30 over buckeroos. They must be earning tons!)
The lady at the store originally quoted me 30 Ringgit per casing. She was rather hesitant to give me a discount despite my pleas. Thus I ended up buying two to get a 5 Ringgit discount. There are other stores selling iphone casings too. I walked into one that sold a light pink coloured Chanel inspired handphone casing. Her store was at the far end and she quoted me 20 ringgit per casing. Unfortunately, she did not have a black or dark blue cover and hence I didn't patronize her store. I guess the best is to comb the entire basement area and getting quotes before deciding on which store to buy from.
Clothes wise, there are quite a handful of blogshop inspired clothings in the basement too. Those that are of better material weren't that cheap. The prices of those dresses went as high as SGD 50. But if you're looking for those short sleeveless dresses, you can expect prices to be around SGD 15 - 25. There's quite a handful of accessories shops and I even spotted one that sells those Chanel inspired earrings. It was retailing for about SGD5 - 10, depending on the size and colour.
For those needing to stock up on household items, theres a huge supermarket on the first floor and a Popular on the second floor. By the way, the Popular discount card can be used in Malaysia too! In general the mall is pretty self-sufficient for ladies. Apart from clothes, phone casings and food, there's even a wedding shop that sells those Chinese accessories needed for weddings.
I quite enjoyed my trip here although the boyfriend complained that there was nothing for the guys. Hehe but I did managed to make him happy by bringing him to the KFC in the mall.
