Have finally updated on my Tokyo trip. Continue reading to see my food pictures!
2nd trip back to Tokyo and the things that never fail to amaze me are the food, cleanliness and the high level of civic consciousness of the people. They don't have dustbins on the streets but yet the roads are so so so clean!
Had a good 2 to go deal through Singapore Airlines and hence my tickets worked out to about $750 per person after taxes. At this age, direct flights are really an added comfort. The flight to Tokyo was pretty awesome since it was not fully packed. Managed to get an empty seat in between the both of us :) Hee more leg room for stretching. Unfortunately on my return trip back, the plane was so packed that my travel partner and I were seated separately. We both had middle seats and I was seated one row infront of her. Always thought that if you bought 2 tickets, you could seat next to your partner, but that rule doesn't seem to hold on SQ :(
Well anyways on to the pictures...
Was extremely famished after lugging my luggage around, so headed to a ramen store for our first meal in Japan. I really love how you can go into any random store and somehow the dish will still taste dam good.

Desserts at the Loccitane cafe at Shibuya. If you are coming to this cafe, ask for a window seat as you will get to see a bird's eye view of the famous Shibuya crossing from this cafe.

The highlight of this raw fish meal has got to be the big orange fish eggs. They literally burst open when you chew on them and a tasty melt-in-your-mouth type of liquid will slowly ooze out.
Love Love Love the food in Japan! One reason why I will go back here again is definitely because of the fresh food!
