Had brunch with my folks at Wild Honey, Scotts Square on a sunny Monday afternoon. Thanks to the outdoor table we had, I was able to make use of the abundant amount of sunlight to capture the above pictures in their unedited mode. Note to self and all aspiring food photographers: sit outdoors for better pictures.
I had the European breakfast which consisted of eggs benedicts, wrapped in bacon and spread over a few big scoops of hollandaise sauce. Despite the many raves, I felt the hollandaise sauce was too creamy for my liking. It did taste a bit sourish too :(
Didn't hear any complains from the English Breakfast or Tuscan Sandwich so that's probably a safe bet to order.
Our cold drinks were absolutely refreshing and great under the intense heat. Service was prompt but we had a rocking table which the staff couldn't fix. I don't blame the young waiter but perhaps the higher authorities could have stepped in and helped with the situation. Like offer to switch tables?
